Since Managed Disk Access (MDA) storage is accessed over the Internet, you can read and write your files from any computer using Windows or Mac. You can connect multiple offices so all employees can access your company data at home, on customers locations, or even outside the country. Your data is always available, always reliable, and always ready.
Protected against disk failure
MDA uses hardware and disk architecture that is an order of magnitude more reliable than that hard drive you may be tempted to buy down at the local BestBuy. Rather than writing your data to a single drive, MDA spreads the data across up to 12 servers all over the globe, which significantly improves reliability while never sacrificing access speed.
Works with other services
As of right now, you can use your MDA storage just as you would any other hard drive. SSH provides you with a protocol to connect your MDA storage with a wide variety of online services.
Works with your local operating system
For your applications, MDA disks look just like the disk inside your computer. You can write in your word processor, and save directly to MDA. Work on that spreadsheet and save directly to MDA. Open photos in your favorite graphics editing program directly from MDA.
Reliability
Your data is 100% safe, all data is sync’d to 12 different servers all over the glob. An important note is that MDA does not maintain backups of your disk in case you delete something in error. You’re buying a disk, and you’re responsible for its contents. Your data is incredibly safe and secure, but if you delete something, it’s gone.
Security
All traffic to and from Austin Web Development’s MDA servers is 100% encrypted, and the data is individually encrypted on each server.
Pricing
Pricing starts at $50 per month, and $10 per GB of data stored. Client software is available for $40 per workstation (the use of our software is not required, we believe that Clients should not be locked into our software).
