Our experienced system analysts and programmers work on your project from its conceptualization through and beyond its completion and implementation. We will manage the project engagement to ensure that the project remains on its intended course and within budget. It’s easy to offer deployable systems and install them, but we will remain with you to insure that your technical personnel and other employees can successfully use the application. We also offer customized support contracts to meet most any need.

All our development is 100% standards based.

Like any company we use dozens of tools and we specialize around the handful that we like best. We build most of our projects using the latest version of PHP and MySQL, but we’re comfortable with MS-SQL and Oracle databases for larger scale systems. Out team is constantly training to build to the latest web standards, including valid HTML (HTML5 preferred), CSS, and JavaScript (with jQuery). This ensures that your projects are done correctly, and you are not locked into one company to handle all your needs (though, we’d love for you to stay). This provides you with the flexibility to take projects in house, or to come back at a later date.

We give back!

Austin Web Development uses Open Source software to keep our customers costs down and within budget. The software that we have used has helped our company grow, and so we feel it’s only right to give back. Check out the WordPress plugins that we have developed for the whole community.

We build on Open Platforms

Austin Web Development utilizes the latest in Open Source technology to keeps your project within budget and to streamline development.  Why pay someone to reinvent the wheel?  Since we develop on open platforms, your resources can be better spent adding new features or functionality that will take your project to the next level without paying through the ceiling costs.  Of course, we understand that internal policies may prohibit this, and so Austin Web Development can also build from scratch or use packages that offer a “closed source” model.
